Of kicking ass and suprises

Hmmm...nothing to do...might as well blog of today's turn of events. Today was rather special. It wasn't just like any other Saturday, this is pretty much the summary of today:

So I woke up in the morning, feeling like going back to sleep, since I woke up at 7AM-ish to go to school for prize giving day, and had to be a back-up welcoming committee for the VIP. For the first time in my high-school life, I get to wear a blazer, now that's nigh laughable, since I always wanted to wear a blazer. SO I got my prize and IMMEDIATELY told my dad to drive me back home, since I'm the catalyst for today's event, which was organizing a get-together with my friends and to go watch a movie, and lunch.

The night before was hectic, since I had to plan on who's doing what. And an unexpected someone finally decided to join us. But the next day, it all pull through and I think everyone was happy. Me, Eunice, (yes, this is my first time mentioning her in my blog, she was the unexpected one to come and join us, I met her a week ago.) Ritchie, Nathalie, Susan...and Susan's boyfriend who tagged along were the ones there.

So finally when I got a call from Nathalie as I was practicing piano, embracing it's elegant sounds, I finally got to the cinemas, Susan already was lining-up to get tickets to watch Kick-Ass, me an Nat were talking, until a few minutes later, Ritchie called, he showed up with Eunice. Since he was in-charge of picking her up. So I get to meet up with Eunice for the first time, and Nathalie gets to meet some of my friends, while Ritchie gets to meet Nathalie again.

So Susan decided to go and walk around with her boyfriend, and then there was 4.... Ritchie and Nathalie bolted and walked waaaaaaaaaaays in front of me and Eunice. Ritchie you sly bastard you. So I was walking with Eunice...until...I saw...Jane.Lee. She totally misunderstood, I was just walking with her, nothing more. So we got our stomachs filled and talked. Then we rushed to the cinemas and watched Kick-Ass.

The movie...KICKED.ASS. It's really good, and it's totally a worth-watching flick. I recommend it to people who like comedy, action and drama. Though the movie started out funny and not serious at all. It ended up as something people can learn from that it's not "With No Power Comes No Responsibilities." but everyone plays a part in society, though their deeds forgotten, the feeling of victory is still sweet. Hit-Girl was totally my favorite hero in the movie, since she does most of the awesome things, the movie even has Call of Duty references!

So after that we went hunting for guitar strings. Eunice had to replace hers since she wanted to play guitar. After that, I went and buy some snacks at Carl's Jr. even though I ate most of it. We also went and see some pets since the bowling alley was full (bowling was our initial idea) After that, we said our farewells for now, and I actually wanted to take a picture of us 4 (Susan and her boyfriend once again disappeared after the movie.) But no one wanted, so in the end only me and Eunice took a picture.

After that, I left for my music class and the rest went back home.

The rest is silence.

Quote of the Day: "I care about you a lot." Kick-Ass' way of saying "I love you"

Insanity of the Day:

Choral Speakers: We share the food that we eat! We share the words that we speak!

Me: *whispers to Hon Pann* We share the beds that we sleep...

Hon Pann: We share the condoms that we use.

Me: what...?

Confusion

Hmmm...since I'm bored, she's not online and I'm about to play some Modern Warfare, why not blog a a bit, eh?

Truth is, every time I fall for a girl, I'm always hurled into a endless cycle of confusion, and this one's the worst of them all... first she says that she's not interested in any relationships due to her "young" age, then next she says that she has a crush on a guy in her church, and that guy also has a crush on her, but she doesn't want to be with him due to self-doubt, even after I've advised her to get into a relationship, she still denies it's benefits.

Then, just yesterday, I was talking to her, and brought up the question "Except for the fact that you're "young", what else is stopping you from getting into a relationship?" She said she wasn't comfortable with how guys label girl as an object by exclaiming a girl is "my girl". But I told her that it wasn't true, that a relationship was more than that, it's when two souls find the flower seeds of love waiting to bloom for each other, and when two people promise to take care of each other, in sickness or health. It's when you craft a bond with your partner; a bond of trust.
Just as I win over the debate, she changed the subject, I was fairly disappointed.

After that rebuttal, the question in my head is... why is she so defensive and for what? Why is she so secretive towards me? Am I not someone whom you can trust? Why does me enjoying helping people make her label me as Superman? WHY IS SHE SO VIDEO-GAME ORIENTED THAT SHE KNOWS WHERE I GOT MY MOST RECENT DRAWING REFERENCE?! And lastly, why am I attracted to her so? Recently drawn picture, Sigma Kurogami from Sigma Harmonics

Alas, those are questions that cannot be answered.

The rest is silence.

P.S. Some are born great, but others have greatness thrust upon them.

P.S.S. Zee, you lazy bum, here, this post is to update you on my love life.

Of gains and loss

So, I'm officially back from Bentong, Pahang from the short Leadership Camp. The camp was pretty much decent, it had good food and interesting activities, apart from where I thought I had to climb the steep path to the place but actually we were supposed to wait for another lorry to take us up since the one we were riding in broke down. I couldn't breathe for approx. 30 minutes, that's not natural, usually I'll recover in 5 minutes whenever that happens.

With 78 students....taking a bath wasn't easy since toilets were always full, also since My dorm is WAYS from the toilet or the hall, I was just too lazy to keep going back and forth. But There was a lot of firsts, I had my first obstacle course, I had my first Flying Fox, had my first crossing of a suspension bridge. But sadly, since my physical health didn't allow me so, I skipped the Jungle Trekking.

My group The White Eagles won the best group in the camp. I also as part of a sketch that placed 4th that night, as a result, I've lost my voice since I was practicing my falsettos.

That's pretty much is the Leadership Camp in a nutshell.

MOVING ON.

Great...I lost my phone, now I have to re-save all of my contacts, it was loss on the bus ride home today.

One more thing...yeah, I'll admit it, I AM missing someone, I think I'm beginning to get a little more infatuated towards her...what should I do...she doesn't want a relationship yet I'm beginning to get VERY interested in her....should I wait? Or should I take Ritchie's advice and stay as JUST friends with her... one thing's for sure though, she's the only exception.

P.S. Without Music, Life Is Meaningless.
